Tina Kendall is a film scholar who specialises in contemporary European and American cinema, particularly films of an 'extreme' or provocative nature. She is currently working on two projects: a monograph that addresses boredom in relation to 21st century film & media culture, and a 'Digital Violence' research network that considers the nature of violence in a digital context.
